University Counselling

Virtually all Verdala students apply to colleges and universities around the world.  The VIS college counsellor assists students and parents through the very detailed process of selecting the universities and programs which best fit each student’s passions, skills and personal preferences.  The counsellor also guides the student through the application process. 

To help students develop their short and long term education goals, the “Career Coaching Programme”, spanning the Middle School and High School has been developed.   Students enter into discussions about the world of work and possible career paths as well as the skills, attitudes and qualifications required for specific careers.  This is accomplished in Personal and Social Health Education (PSHE) classes and individual and group sessions with the College Counsellor. Optional aptitude testing is available on request.

Verdala is a PSAT and SAT testing site.  Other university entry tests are administered as needed.
